Monash wins Chinese Goldern Bridge again.

Monash non-background Chinese students recently come first and second of the Chinese Bridge Competition (the world most prestigious Chinese language/culture competition). This is the second time in a row that Monash students have achieved this fantastic feat against all students from other universities in Melbourne (including two students from Melbourne).

Monash Chinese Studies Program and Radio Monash has agreed that from next semester, the Chinese Internship program will broadcast/podcast their essays on Radio Monash. We encourage everyone to enrol in the Internship program for fun, learning and to be part of the world’s first campus based Chinese language radio program.

More info regarding the Chinese Bridge competition and Chinese Internship program could be found on Monash Chinese Studies website: http://arts.monash.edu.au/chinese/

I just want to congratulate both David and Thomas on their terrific performance in the Chinese Golden Bridge competition. Also we are all greatly indebted to the Chinese language staff of Monash for their dedication to their students and the program.
